Strong and Steady

Program Description: 

Participants will have the opportunity to perform exercises with a physiotherapist and interact with other health care providers to share, learn and gather healthy tips.  Learn how to stay safe in your home and in the community, practice easy exercises that you can do at home, and have fun with others.

Primary Care for Seniors

Program Description: 

Available to seniors age 55+ living in the catchment area and needing a family doctor, nurse practitioner, or nurse.

Physiotherapy

Program Description: 

Physiotherapists assess level of mobility, strength, endurance and other physical abilities.  Treatment plans focus on promoting wellness, mobility, and function.  To be eligible for physiotherapy services, you must be a registered client of the Anne Johnston Health Station.

Health Promotion Workshops

Program Description: 

We offer a variety of workshops throughout the year that provide information and education for people with physical disabilities on a variety of health and wellness issues. 

Upcoming topics and dates:

  • Adult Colouring Drop-In takes place on Tuesdays from 1:30pm-3:00pm. 
  • Boccia Ball program takes place on Saturdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm starting from October 14th, 2017 to December 9th, 2017. 

Boccia Ball program is funded through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
